Pet Therapy is an act of identification that stems from a form familiar to me: my hand. The hand becomes something else, takes the shape of a muzzle, adopts a new identity, yet remains itself — rigid, fixed, and recognizable. Around it, raw clay shapes a figure that reveals its fragility: the fragility of an idea embodied, built upon my body. The simulation originates from my point of view, from which I cannot alienate myself.
